Making The Vision Reality

We are looking for partners to make this dream come true!

For the past 5 years, this farm now named RRR has been a part of many people’s lives and stories in serving Christ here in Cambodia. We have hosted numerous people teaching Bible, worshipping together, and encouraging them in their walk with Christ. We have done all of this without rooms for them to sleep and without furniture including beds or chairs! But, the presence of the Lord has been sweet for them in spite of what we lacked! We want to provide a place with rooms to sleep, beds to sleep on, and chairs to sit along with a meeting room adequate for 50 to gather.

A Meeting Place

An open air pavilion will give a community space for meeting together. This is where the healing can happen. From discipleship, counseling, camping out, or sharing a meal, this open space will allow for all of this to happen in a peaceful environment.

Housing

From tent camping to bungalows, we need to provide a variety of places for groups to choose. Currently, we have one bungalow built with hopes of building 5 more. This will house at least 24 people for a conference. For tent camping, we will need to provide a cleared, prepared area and have tents that are durable. We will also build public bathrooms. Between the tents and bungalows, we hope to house up to 50 people for their retreat.

Currently we have one bungalow that can house 4 with amazing views of the forest. We hope to build 5 more.

Staff

The most delicious food in town is baked by one of the most evangelic and God loving people I know. Ming Kia owned a bakery for years but due to a decrease in travel from Covid restrictions, she has closed the bakery. She is ready to combine her love for cooking with her passion to serve the Lord. She is one of several that we will need to meet the needs of our guests. We have Cambodians ready to greet, teach, and show compassion and love to those we host.

Things To Do In Mondulkiri

Elephants

Elephant trek

Most villages of Mondulkiri have raised elephants for many generations. You can go see, feed, and even bathe these beautiful giants! There are 2 places we recommend based on your budget. We have a Bunong tour guide who can provide the trek, elephant experience, and traditional Bunong meal for a day for $30.00 a person. Or there is an amazing elephant conservation camp that can host a day, 2 day, or 3 day experience for more.

Hiking

Mount Nam Lear

Explore the only dome mountain in Cambodia. Located an hour’s drive from RRR, take a short but steep climb to the top of this incredible mountain with views across Mondulkiri and into Vietnam.

Nature

See the Gibbons, Black Shanked Douc, and more

The gibbons are an endangered species and you can have the rare chance to see them in their natural habitat. The Jahoo Camp can arrange day trips or overnight tent camping near the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary.

Waterfalls

Bousra Waterfall

Cambodia’s most famous waterfall with triple tiers is an amazing site to see. A thirty-minute drive from RRR to visit this refreshing beautiful waterfall in the middle of the jungle.

Things To Do

There is a variety of activity in Mondulkiri town. Ziplining over the jungle and largest waterfall in Cambodia. Trekking to see and bathe elephants. Picnics at beautiful rapids, waterfalls, and quiet creeks. Learning the jungle ways of the Bunong Tribal people. Early morning bird watching trips. Hiking among the rare gibbons in a gibbon camp. And, overnight camping in the jungle. We can coordinate these activities for you!

Delicious Food From Around The World!

Mondulkiri has many restaurants to meet your tastebuds. Western options include Italian food made by Italians at MondulItaly, Pizza and burgers at Route 76, and burgers at Nature Lodge or Mayura. Give Bunong food a try! They are known for a spicy eggplant soup called Samlaw Bok! Khmer food is also available at some of the most scenic sites including Coffee Plantation, Oremis, and BoSra.
